Prices & Payments
The prices of gold, of platinum, of palladium and of silver are fixed each working day at the London Fixes and hence become a matter of record reported worldwide in the financial press. These London Fixed prices are expressed in troy ounces which should not be confused with imperial ounces - a troy ounce is heavier:
1 troy ounce = 31.1035 grams adjusted to four decimal places.
Current metal prices are always available from MTD in all major currencies.
We normally quote prices for all metals per gram, per kilo and per troy ounce but if you ever need prices quoted per unit for comparison purposes we are always pleased to do so.
Being active in the markets we are always pleased to purchase unused metals, coins, bars, ingots at the top prices; please phone for a quotation. This is in addition to our scrap materials, metals and alluvials services.
